CLEAR is sold as a zero-sugar powder; its Supplement Facts panel does not list a sugars line. Starbucks describes its caffeine values as approximate. The USDA figures are for “Beverages, coffee, brewed, prepared with tap water”, an entry USDA notes “Includes fast food and home brewed coffee.” It is not a specific brand.

Reading the numbers

Common questions.

How much caffeine is in one scoop of CLEAR?

The Supplement Facts label lists 200mg caffeine from green tea per two-scoop serving, so one scoop contains 100mg.

Why are some coffee values per 100g?

USDA FoodData Central reports nutrients per 100g of brewed coffee and lists a 1-cup (8 fl oz) portion of 237g. Sugars, calories, and sodium are shown per 100g, as USDA reports them. The caffeine row shows USDA’s 40mg per 100g, and about 95mg per 8 fl oz cup from applying that figure to the 237g portion, rounded.
